We live together.......

I don't know how we missed this yesterday, especially since we were just talking about it the other day:http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/interviews/a/advantage-04/ and the weekly feature is now greatest albums 00-04. Tyranny of Distance ranks relatively high. How did I not notice these things?

Tom Boswell talks about Jose Canseco's butt.http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A6271-2005Feb7.html?nav=headlines

Yes, well, those nintendo bands are a neat idea, but Al Yankovic is less of a novelty act...

Jose Canseco is dumb, Boswell is correct there. He's generally dumb in a funny way, which makes for good sports columns.

I enjoy Scrubs. Why did you look that up?

Go world. America is a beacon of freedom for... a good 66% of it. Terrorists hate our Fritos.

As far as WaPo chats go, today is a winner. Weiny, Paul Farhi, and the venerable Brookings Institution! Maybe we can ask it for jobs.

I'm getting a little sick of whining about pitchfork, but...

This is the first list where I read the first page, then skipped straight to the top ten, to maximize my annoyance. First off, there aren't that many GOOD albums to do this many lists of the best however many whatevers...
Second, the top ten is really cheap... I know, it's the weakness of the record collector's penchant for lists that they'll never satisfy everyone, but, it's just cheap. How many pitchfork readers are gonna play Jay-Z before the new Caribou stuff? None. None more Black Album.

Also, it doesn't speak well for this year, if the Arcade Fire has already fallen to the 40s. Retahded.

I want to see a bunch of pitchfork writers, hooded and silent, casting ballots in a Chicago basement for the top 100 b-sides of last month. I'm black-balling Deerhoof.

Nintendo bands are dumb, I just enjoyed the running commentary of Nintendo playing. Pitchfork is very dumb.
I looked up Scrubs to see if it was a new episode. I really need some sleep tonight and that Safeway salsa made my stomach feel weird again. Maybe more Tums is the answer? Maybe more stationary biking as well? Less Salsa more Pizza? What's the answer?
The afternoon (as truncated as mine is) can be none more busy. The possibility of recieving a package when I get home helps me through many a day.

Less chipotle for me... not the restaurant, just anything with smoked jalapenos. I dunno what I was thinking last night, hint of lime chips with chipotle salsa, that must have been the rum's idea.

Mmm, tempura anything...

What's with foodtv.com? Usually my go-to place, the allmusic or imdb of food, but it's been slow and crappy lately, and is singlehandedly (ha) responsible for burning you.

Maybe I had too much mexican parsley. I actually saw some where (I think the "Know-It-All" book) that it's supposed to be more like oregano....which leads me to believe that a mexican teenager somewhere is saying "No dad, that bag you found in my underwear drawer is just cilantro."
Tempura does look good. Although not a fan of many vegetables some thinly sliced, well cooked zucchini or eggplant is real real nice. Brocolli remains a vile weed.

His Patriots-fandom - and relentless praise for teams Brendan pretends to like - should make me hate him like GIJoe hates Cobra, and the Fridge hates missing a meal. But I can't stay mad at Bill Simmons, when he writes lines like this, which SHOULD be depressing for a few reasons:
"Even hockey diehards -- a dying breed right up there with Eddie Murphy fans and handlebar-mustache fans -- seem to agree this lockout is for the best."
