I Ruv Me Too
In an Eerie coincidence, "Turning Japanese" came on when I was riding the escalator this morning. Rather than making me feel like a mindless robot, it made me think I was a giant bi-pedal Panda who should run rampant throught the District lifting up Supreme Court Justices' robes, stealing Senators' briefcases and rolling up the Declaration of Independence in order to eat it like a stick of bamboo.
It's funny that the blogger linked to our chat about Dirda, paticularly because we also talked just as much about moving to Silver Spring in that thread.
Orioles and Phillies in Bawl-t-more this weekend. Lamentably, we have no money.

Infrequency and Indie Punching. Not Professionalism.

The Vapors version, I suspect, not the Skankin' Pickle version?
Pandamonium.
That was a pretty incoherent, personal thread. As are they most. To continue in that vein, toilet seems to have fixed itself. Also, commute was glorious. I suspect a nicer day will bring stupid sun glare delays, but I'll take 13 miles and 20 minutes.
Am I interested in seeing Star Wars? I don't know.
Generally, Stephen A. aside, I like Philly sports columnists. And I like the Phillies. But try reading this.
In case you get confused and don't make it to the last line, it's this: "My cup runneth over... with very young cabernet."
Makes me yearn for Kornhoodrat's friend Chad Norman.
I think that pickle could beat this guy in a race to Rob Zombie's house. (This also popped up when I googled Voodoo Glow Skulls and is the scariest thing I've ever seen)
I'd rather see Crash at the AFI theater than those crazy, wacky, Star Wars.
That was very very very hard to read. Particularly because he used "Andy" as a nickname for Larry Anderson. His name is already Larry! Just like yours is Vegan Von Chazzenheimer IV.
The Noooooooge! I wonder if he hangs out with Baloosh.
That name involves my actual name in no way whatsoever.
This looks kind of cool. Oh right, no $$.
Talk about your worlds colliding. Someone asked about restaurants in Columbia on Ask Tom:
"Columbia, MD: Ohh, how could I forget Noodles Corner and Trattoria Enrico? Or for burritos Frico Burritos? Or the Iron Gate Wine Bar? But still no late night dining around here for the bowlers.
Tom Sietsema: YOu're making me hungry. "
Trattoria Enrico....butter pie heaven.
Butterpie. Maybe someone should ask: "Tom, is it true that placing a stick of butter in the center of a pizza before cooking, letting it melt and therefore transform the pizza into a "butterpie", creates the most delicious savory treat $10.45 can buy?"
Inquiring minds want to know.
Covert Plan: One of us infultrates Mama Lucia as a weekend pizza maker, smuggle butter onto the pizzas, demand for the delicious butterpie skyrockets, we get free pizza forever....and fatter.
