Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water....

AZLO!

An article about one of our favorite clubs. This guy always had my favorite club and this guy was my favorite musician who never appeared at the 9:30 Club.

Azlo, Orioles swept the Ancient Mariners, but the Yankees have been winning and are now tied for 2nd with Toronto. Have you noticed no one calls this guy "Alex Rodriguez" anymore. I mean that's his name, A-Rod, gimme a break. On the plus side, I suppose we have Boston people to thank for the many humorous photoshopped A-Rod pictures. Many of the "ball slapping incident" such as here and here. One of a Yankees mandate. And I guess we have Peter Gabriel to thank for this one. Now...Sammy Sosa, there's someone to look up to he never does anything stupid.

Have fun this weekend, playing My Little Ponies with Erik. That picture will have to work, I couldn't find a good one for Sully from Commando, who still seems to be finding work. You may remember him as T-Bird in the Crow. Oh yeah, this.

I'm speechless. That's a lot of clicking. I know it's kind of rude to directly link images, what with bandwidth issues and all, but meh.

Good work out of the O's. Mike and Mike and Peter Gammons talked about baseball for 20 minutes this morning, and never mentioned the Phillies. Ouch. Jayson Stark would have.

I suppose I should leave a rent check so we don't get sued. I guess I can calculate the amount from our sheaf of RCSprings papers?

Today, The The's "This is the Day" came on, followed by Primal Scream's "Come Together" (first lyrics - "This is the day. It is a new day."), then the Who "I'm Free," then Dino Jr. "Just Like Heaven." I rolled into work to the tune of "The Age of Pamparius." Needless to say, i was pumped. Seriosuly, how's that for motivational iPodding?

I had a similarly pumpified iPodding morning, Started with "Rocket Queen", Smashing Pumpkins "Today" Joe Jackson's "I'm the Man" with some Thin Lizzy, Superdrag and Chisel thrown in there, not as inspirational as yours but damn good. All that means is that the ride home will be all Belle & Sebastian and weepy Ryan Adams tunes.

I had the rent figured out at some point, I think half is something like $396, but I couldn't say for certain. Are you stopping at the Springs before you leave?

Azlo, add to it $25 for your half of our last BGE bill.

Yes, I'll be back to the apt. (or "The Acorn", as I like to call it) around 1230.

Yeah, i was afraid I'd hit Joy Division before I got out of the car this morning - would've killed the energy.

Okay, so like $425. Makes sense. I'l figure it out when I get there. Check will be on the counter.
