Rootin' Tootin'

Sung to the tune of "Chester River Song":
I wanna watch last night's Deadwood,
Lay back in the TV's glow.
I wanna watch last night's Deadwood,
Only one more til super cable goes.

With my face in some Chili and a National Boh,
Oh Lordy that's what I call fun

We'll have to bookend this week with old timey-ness. If we watch Deadwood tonight and go see the Decemberists on Friday.

This was the German place that we ate at on Saturday. Wunderbar! Speaking of Germans.....

I knew they like this guy, but Indian people do as well.

I prefer to think of Spielberg as the "Yosh Shopra of America."

German place sounds fun. I wonder if Carlton is banned there as well. I think it's pretty great that people like to insert hilarious German words into the conversation when they talk about German things. The "user review" at the bottom has all sorts of Deutsch going on. Do you see that in reviews of Italian restaurants? Not unless the reviewer is Mario "O Shaugnessy" Batali.

Looking forward to Deadwood. Is chili a prerequisite for Deadwood watchin'?

I may have some funny links up later, but I fear I've reached the end... the end of the internet. I just don't feel like reading anything else.

I thought it was important (for me) to look at these. This place also has interweb access. Lets see how long we can last sans comcast. It'll be more of a test than me at Daedalus.

Chili is a prerequisite for Deadwood watchin', even though I think Al Swearengen's chili would contain a large quantity of horse meat and warm whiskey.

Not sure if those places would be excited if you invited them to the download party. I think the Red Dog cafe also has internet access (and hopefully Red Dog), and U of M is but a few minutes away, and they have interweb flying all over the place. I think Ralph Friedgen is the only disturbance in their otherwise complete internet. Just too dense.

Also, Saturday is very good, a nice break from the "this silly peasant is in love with an aristocrat, who is also quite stupid and French" of Stendhal. Only problem is the painstaking description of brain ailments and surgery (main character is a neurosurgeon). Not for the mildly hypochondriac.

I heard that the brain ailments and surgery parts of Saturday were a bit dense, but not Friedgen dense. I'm certainly not going to start cruising the area in my car looking for internets floating through the air.

It's past 11 in the AM, do you know where your Pitchfork update is?

They didn't know that Friday? Man they suck.

This game's on ESPN tonight. Can one switch between this and Deadwood? Nevermind, I probably won't enjoy watching it anyway. Nice pitching matchup.

Stopped by my local Nintendo game place. Sincerely tempted by Jackal, first Metal Gear ($10?!?), and Tiger Heli. Perhaps not T&C Surf Design. Thoughts?

Let's wait until summer to buy Nintendo games. By then we'll be out of school and can spend the whole day playing Nintendo......damn it, we're not 8 anymore.

FYI, I'm taking off work this Friday(6th), next Friday(13th) and that next Monday(16th).
