4:45 a.m.

What the hell was that? I assumed Courtney (6:30 a.m. flight), but she said she was asleep at the time. My guess is either Noonan or Dawson. Unfortunately, I picked it up before they could leave a message, or sing the national anthem.

Chris called last night and invited me to go see Tej at Irving Plaza (NYC) Sunday the 26th. I just may.

Yes, between a 4:45 phone call and this it was an odd morning.

I need to got that Kraftwerk poster framed.

I think I am one of the only frequent visitors to you music review page. I like it, someday you'll work for Azerrad.

Scrubs is on tonight. Man, thats a dumb cover.

The Seinfeld DVD covers are dumb too. George - throwing a ball? Elaine - sticking her tongue out? That Kramer - so smiley!

Blood on the tracks, eh? Gross. Was the station closed when you got there? Speaking of gross, I have got to stop reading James Ellroy books before I go to sleep. I mean, his characters see awful things, then actually dream about worse things. What am I supposed to dream about after that? Sam Adams Cream Ale?

Thanks for the compliment on my awesome new blog. Title comes from my friends' band's eponymous debut... tape. Judging from my site meter, you at work and you at home are the only two people who've seen it.

From the Post's Nightlife Agenda:

"Once you decide to form a Journey tribute band, choosing a name is half the fun. Tributecity.com lists more than a dozen groups that re-create the classic San Francisco rockers, including Separate Ways, Raised on Radio and three different bands that call themselves Escape. Of course, it helps if, you know, you actually sound something like Journey. Check out the clips on journeytributeband.com, the Web site of a Virginia band called Frontiers, and you'll have to admit the singer sort of does sound like Steve Perry. Judge for yourself tonight at Clarendon Grill, when Frontiers tries its hardest to make you believe you're watching Neil Schon circa 1981."

Hmmm....

Bret Easton Ellis is a more suitable bedtime option, you can never be sure what was a dream and what wasn't.

By that token, my music blog would be called "2 Player Simultaneous Action" and be a joint release with Chaotix.....and be very bad.

I really don't see how you can have a Journey tribute and not call yourselves the "Wheels in the Sky" and I hope that their tribute is done quite faithfully.

Googling Steve Perry will get you this, this, a handsome computer background, a very sad person's tattoo, and a bunch of sci-fi books.
