Burnt Sienna

I theorize that Burnt Sienna may have been the first color/name combination that has now led Crayola/Home Depot et al to have a "creative" "new" name for every shade of green. Sea lime, motherf-er? Remember that early 80s quick documentary on making crayons? With Joe Jackson as the soundtrack? That was great. Crayon sharpeners are stupid.

This guy is bitter, but he makes a pretty good case. I like those songs - doesn't everybody? - so I guess that's what makes them weak DJ choices. As for the pitchfork-watching, guilty as charged.

They used to run that making crayons thing on Mr Rogers. Man, he was awesome, but lamentably did all the annoying voices for the things in the Land of Make Believe (including but not limited to: the annoying tiger who lived in the tree, King Friday, and that creepy half-person who lived in the carousel).

That guy has a damn good point. If you're gonna pretend to DJ, add some seldom heard classic nuggets in there, or a different version of a song everyone likes(cover, remix, sung by a Portuguese guy). Wes Anderson seems to make a pretty good soundtracks doing that....and employing that guy from Devo with the fat dawg.
