Los Simpson
Ok, so Homero is a funny name, but more importantly what do they do about Bumblebee Man?
Someone asked Dirda about book-related blogs yesterday, if I had been reading it live I would have referred him to ours or at least the guy who uses us as a source.
I don't know about the Nick Hornby thing, as of now, I'm not plannin' on it.
I'm gonna buy my Silverdocs tickets today, for Aristocrats, 930 and Comedians of Comedy because it sure sucks to have money and I should spend all that I get immediately. And I goooo with the flow.....whoa-oh-oh-whoa-whoa.

Infrequency and Indie Punching. Not Professionalism.

When Tito Puente scandalizes Mr. Burns with a sizzling salsa beat, do they overdub polka music and exaggerated, doofy American voices?
"Mr. Dirda, what do you think about book-related blogs?"
"Lamentably, I don't believe there's much use to the interweb. I file it with young writers - and readers - as pretty much invariably worthless. Now, excuse me, I have to teach a class."
Pshaw, Nick Hornby, he'll be back soon, I'm sure.
Alright on the Silverdocs, I'll let you know what I commit to seeing.
I think they just have Robert Goulet take Mr Burns down with his smokin sing chops instead of Tito Puente. Vice versa when Goulet performs in Bart's treehouse.
I've had "Spit on a Stranger" in my head all day, does that mean I'm in danger of actually doing it this afternoon?
Well, looks like I'm comin home and sleepin in Silver Spring this eve. Still interested in Hornby?
Not really, I already talked myself out of it.
