I did forget to mention that Chop Chop (featuring former members of Silver Spring's own Velocity Girl) played a song last night that was (earnestly) about the Spanish Civil War. I thought that subject was already covered by this band, a past winner of the Bob Doughty look-a-like contest and a painter named after some famous beans.

I just remember Velocity Girl not having a girl, and being boring. Way to lose out to Letter to Cleo.
Phil Nevin is a jerk. I prefer Phil Niekro, but who doesn't?
I've been enjoying the music of this guy a lot lately. I'm glad to know he looks nothing like he sounds.
