Dischord's store has a Most Secret Method CD in their Slowdime section and in their Superbad section. Capital City Dusters were on Superbad for a while too, notable b/c the 'get a job' guy from the Belinda Carlisle cover band is their lead singer.
Sunday's Book World said that Klosterman's new book is going to get reviewed in Style this week, so keep an eye out for that. I think Joe Heim is supposed to do it, I fear that I have hated his work before but can't remember.
Ultimately, I made the right decision not to go to Dino Jr. Here's the setlist:Gargoyle/In A Jar/The Lung/Post/Forget the Swan/Little Fury Things/Repulsion/Raisans/Bulbs of Passion/Budge/Kracked/Sludgefeast---Just Like Heaven/Freak Scene/Tarpit/Chunk
I know maybe 2 or 3 of the songs that were not in the encore and I'm sure everything was uber-fuzzy. Woot woot for French Toast and saving $30. Damn Pitchfork and their Intonation.
That title should get us some nice internet search visitors.

Monopoli is the headliner on Thursday.
Joe Heim is the guy who replaced David Segal, I believe. His musical taste and writing style arent quite up to Segal-par, but he's pretty good. Definitely a music writer, though, so the book review should be interesting.
Yeah, I'm not really a fan of Dino Jr.'s more important work. It's as if I like "I Just Called to Say 'I Love You'" and a couple songs off Talking Book.
Yeah, the Slowdime Album ("Get Lovely") is Most Secret Method album I had and enjoyed. Their cover art was cool. I think I also liked Bluetip, and perhaps Kerosene 454. I bought and destroyed many CDs. Atom & His Package had a great song about crappy CDs. One verse went "I own Fire Party, and fucking Pennywise, OH MY GOD WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME?!"

I hope Monopoli's lead singer is this guy.
