Farthead & Kenneth
You can guess which one you are. Speaking of fartheads, check out this guy.
Put this up in your ear hole. It's pretty good.
Apple awaits piles of cash.
I think our blog is the Ministry of Awesome.....and so do a lot of other people who sell useless junk.

Infrequency and Indie Punching. Not Professionalism.

Poor Palmiero. Can you tape little pieces of cork to his bobblehead?
The art on the West Sounds album is nice. It sounds good?
Apple announces, slyly, that however Apple does, Steve Jobs is probably going to be ok. I saw a great thing on Al Gore's all party, all the time TV network - an old news report (like '82) on the future of personal computers. Oh the possibilities!
They sound pretty good, clearly some work went into it, but it makes you appreciate how much work Danger Mouse did.
If the Apple IIe is still at my house when I go back this weekend maybe I'll bring it to the apartment so we can play Carmen Sandiego and Number Munchers.
While playing Carmen Sandiego, one must listen to Interpol.
Hang the DJ - got any suggestions for a "My Dad is a Half-century Old" Playlist?
I have an 8 hour playlist (did it last night) but some of it's pretty tired, and I have to keep in mind that my dad grew up in the 70s, not the early 80s (I have a lot of Cars-type stuff, stuff my parents were listening to when I was a kid). I need to get at least one Jethro Tull song, as my dad is inexplicably a big fan.
Courtney pointed out last night that no one will care, but a true iPod DJ doesn't care that no one cares, right?
Azlo, I will likely hit up the driving range this eveing, in preparation for golf.
I was considering getting my dad an Eddie Izzard DVD for his birthday. Again, inexplicably. Any suggestion for which one?
Anything off this should be fine.
"Glorious," that's probably my favorite. "Dressed to Kill" is also good.
Commodores. Commodores. Commodores. Also go for "Aqualung" or "Bungle in the Jungle" for Tull. I'll always advocate Tom Petty. Maybe some Sly and the Family Stone or Rolling Stones.
I disagree with Courtney, If iPod DJing can be considered an art (here it can), than you do it to express yourself, not to seek approval. Plus I hate her.
Yeah, yeah yeah. iTunes is not a fan of Jethro Tull - nor are they a fan of the Bloc Party remix album, which sounds interstin.
Got a rec for Sly? "Hot Fun in the Summertime" and "Thank You for Lettin Me Be Myself" are obvious and good choices, but "Don't Call me N*****, Whitey" is a close runner up.
And Satan, keep up the good work.
"Dance to the Music"
"Everyday People"
"You Can Make It If You Try"
Some of there songs have lamentably become wedding staples.
How bout some James Brown? Sam Cooke?
Mike Anderson digs Jamaica. You could also steal songs off my reggae box set.
Interesting development. Washingtonpost.com has linked our blog. Does that mean it's time to get out of the blog business?
Where?
Here. They're using a Technorati feed to link back to blogs that link the post.com stories. So far it's generated one hit.
