Luna Park
So Bret "Eastern" Ellis has a new book out. Good, I was getting way too comfortable reading pleasant novels about disconnection from American life, I need some hard core reality bending. Also, according to Amazon, the audio version is narrated by James Van Der Beek. "I don't want... your audiobook!" I'll listen to this instead.
As long as we have cable by 2007....
So, with bluetooth, can your computer and mine exchange files? This would only be beneficial to me, as I cannot as yet get songs off the iPod. I also can't even play purchased songs until we get internet and I can verify that it's alright to play them on my computer. It's iTarded.

Infrequency and Indie Punching. Not Professionalism.

I was just researching Bret Easton Ellis myself this morning. Edie Sedgwick last night had a crazy computer show that had clips from movies edited so the characters moved to the beat of his/her music. It was pretty damn funny and cool. The song "Robert Downey Jr." (the lyrics to which consist almost exclusively of alternating the words 'relapse' and 'recovery') included clips from Less Than Zero which Ellis wrote when he was 21 and still in college. Jerk.
Van Der Beek was in the surprisingly ok Rules of Attraction, so his Ellis ties are true.
Also, this is probably one of the worst movies ever, but that's what Netflix is for.
I think yes on the Bluetooth question. I had someone send me a picture from their bluetooth phone once. It was frighteningly easy.
Wow, and Morgan J. Freeman also directed Dawson's Creek episodes. You'd think you'd change your name. When Ellis was 21 and still in college, that was his second novel. Of course, in order to write them he had to have first-hand knowledge of destructive coke use, so I'm pretty much ineligibile to be his brand of precocious writer-type. At least successful precocious writer-type.
Cool that Sedgwick is cool. I'll be in Towson this evenin, if you want any software, it's in the Mac mini box. Oughta make for a devastatingly fun Friday night.
Woops, strike that second novel comment, what was I thinking?
