The NHL... It's faaaantastic! And outside!

The NHL and Comcast are close to a contract to televise two games a week nationally.
"The cable giant plans to put the games on its Outdoor Life Network (OLN)." Wha? Guess we have to get Comcast.

Even more nuts is that the TV contract is worth $50 mil/year. The NFL must rake in more than that during halftime at a Cardinals preseason game. That's barely the payroll of one team.

Least the Phillies had the day off, and so didn't lose.

Yay sports!

Pitchfork is not particularly worksafe today.

Inner Monologue:
"Hmmm, I'll definitely have to go to Pitchfork now...loading...Oh, the Cure, they're funny looking, oh Michael Jackson, he's a controversial figure, I wonder what Pete was talking about....scroll down....BUTT! Run Away!"

Here's an Mp3 of Brandon Butler, he seems to follow in the Jessie Malin punk to folk singer vein.

Looks like he got a little help from Propagandi on that one. At least they're on the same continent. Guessing that's one Stones song that will not make it onto the Quarry House jukebox.

Bust out the parkas, Wrens tickets are ordered, happy birthday to us from.....us.

Is it a coincidence that Brandon Butler is on the ill-fated, or at least seldom-run Gern Blandsten Records, whose name loosely translated means "well most-bland"? Host also to Chisel, Weston, Radio 4and the legendary Native Nod?
