Palmiiiiiiiiierrrrrrro

Bob Mould wrote the theme song to the Daily Show. Did I know that? I don't think I did but it sounds familiar.

Which of our favorite columnists will weight in on the Palmiero situation first? Here's hoping it's Simmons, not Killbon 3000 or Frank A Smith. Jayson Stark has something to say but he doesn't count because he doesn't know how to spell Jason.

I think if Sufjan Stevens farts on a snare drum Pitchfork will let us know within the hour.

More Aristocrats coverage, further solidifying our reputation as cool advance screening guys.

Jayson Stahrk is good because he uses this guy as a cheating benchmark.

This baseball writer believes Raffy is a Hall of Fame guy, but bets some jerk-ass voters will withhold a vote on the first ballot, just to punish him a little. Personally, I still want to know how he got caught. Was he taking a supplement? Or Canseco-ing it into his keester?

Yeah, I knew that aboot the Daily Show. Not until like, last year though. I think I used to assume it was Man... or Astroman? Good jorb, Bob.

At least Pitchfork admits they're his lapdog, albeit in a Klostermanian preemptive self-criticism kinda way. And I coulda tol you they'd love Dungen. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say I don't love Dungen - or anyhting that can be accurately described as a "psych-folk 60s throwback." You hear that, Brian Jonestown Massacre? R5 has some Dungen mp3s, if you'd like a sample.

Bob Saget was on Stern the other day. Not particularly funny. The default these days seems to be "try to be funny, and when you're not, tell a story about when Rodney Dangerfield took his pants off."

As I think I tried to mention yesterday, You ain't no Picasso (blog) has new live Sonic Youth songs. Songs. Really. I wish they had Nic Fit. 15 year-old me felt that song.
