Strap your Skates on Mates
Go Flyers. They better be good. Some actual Hockey news.
Q and Not U tickets are still avaliable for Friday September the 23rd. It's the day before the Pharmacists/Thievery Corp. show. Maybe Tej will be hangin with us at the Black Cat? Interested?

Infrequency and Indie Punching. Not Professionalism.

My Morning Jacket on 10/10 after Bob Mould on 10/7 and you're seeing Decemberists in there somewhere too right?
Wow. Busy season. I may have f'ed myself on Decemberists, because that's the same weekend as my grandma's memorial golf tournament. We'll see. Definitely up for MMJ, we'll see about Mr. Mould etc. Probably No Q and U for I. Phew.
Yeah, too bad for Philadelphia. It would suck to be from there.
Jesus, weren't those British guys horribly embarrassed? I can't even imagine how Americans singing stupid, quintessentially American songs in a backwards language with an exaggerated accent would sound. Oh, riiight.
In other news, much like my Dell monitor, The Hold Steady aren't coming anywhere near here. The closest they'll come is the Washington & Lee University Outdoor Fest. Yeah, lot of big fans of whiskey-soaked Springsteen-biting bar rock there.
BREAKING NEWS: The 'Super Bowl is Gay' kid NOT A KID!
I'd say "why can't hold steady just play in our apartment?" but I don't think our bar could handle it. It would have to be BYOB and some for your hosts.
Thats a fine Toby Keith picture.
I'll prob go to Q and Not U, been enjoying those tunes quite a bit lately. Bob Mould depends on the price, it may not be as cool as when I saw him solo. MMJ will undoubtably rock. I enjoy that the non-festival, indoors, concert season is starting up again. Screw concerts outside...oh wait.
