In sports, Greg Lewis will be starting for the Eagles, Gretzky will be coaching the Coyotes, That guy from Ace Ventura got into the hall of fame, and Palmeiro will be enjoying a steroid cocktail at Pickles.
On the homefront, the dartboard is back in service and the Badger King has remedied our severe Makers Mark deficiency, but the fridge.......that's still broken.

Courtney got me some birthday presents. This is no joke: Amer Apparel is having a promotional event at Sonar. If you show up, try their panties on, and let them take polaroids of you, you'll be entered in a drawing to win... some free panties. I can't believe they're getting away with this. On the other hand, they didn't say you had to be a girl...

I only have a so long of an attention span for abrasive music now. I can listen to half a Converge song, maybe a Dillenger Escape Plan song every now and then, 0 Earth Crisis songs (no change there). Should I lament this?

Netflix doesn't have the Righetti/Ramones DVD, nor the Chet Lemon/Sex Pistols, Jay Buhner/Buzzcocks or Julio Franco/Clash DVD.
I got nothing for abrasive music. Philip Glass and John Cage, isn't that stuff abrasive? Atonal medleys? I love lamp?
I dunno if you can access iTunes music store, but I thought you'd like to know that Frank Black's celebrity playlist is 100% Burl Ives. Er, Burl Ives.
Odd in that Courtney recently mentioned that her 2-year old niece won't stop listening to a tape of Burl Ives doing children's songs (like real kid's songs, eg "Camptown Races") that her grandparents gave her. Makes for a grand car ride, I'm sure.
I might be able to give you Schoenberg, but Cage don't count. What's your Burl Ives tolerance level. I sure hope people are searching for Burl Ives. Burl Ives.

Yeah, Burl Ives is pretty great. Speaking of pretty great guy I wonder what they look like, Bill Simmons spurred me to finally figure out who Merlin Olsen was/is.
I was especially excited to see that he played himself in CHiPs episode titled ""The Great 5K Star Race and Boulder Wrap Party: Part 2." Incredible.
