Farty Teeth

Word is that on the new season of Arrested Development, this guy will play the Bluth's new lawyer. I'm so excited I might throw up out of my sleeve.

Is it wrong of me to think that Barry Bonds and TO are in cahoots? They seem to alternate blitzing media coverage. Once one gets too big, the other one does something to distract everyone. More on this as the story develops. It will surely end with one of them pooping on the hoods of our cars.

Timorousme.org has a better version of that new Ted Leo song "Sons of Cain." You can tell he doesn't have an awesome solo figured out yet.

Do you think they'll make semi-inside jokes? Like "I know he's our lawyer, but I don't want him in charge of our days, of our lives!"

I tried to find some good vomit-images, but all I got was Dick Cavett's opening monologue on SNL in 1976.

I got a hit on Slam Dancin' from bajafresh.com. Definitely my proudest moment. Surprised we haven't seen any of those here for all our talk of goya beans.

Your TO/Bonds theory holds water. I'm interested to hear more.

Yeah, it looks like Ron Howard is just trotting out the Happy Days cast one-by-one. I can't wait for Ralph Malph.

Man you are lucky, some baja fresh manager has chosen to waste his valuable lunch break in his smelly office reading your indie music reviews. I wonder if Taco Bell has computers.

The theory is still in development, but they did both play in San Fran for a while, and Sal Pal looks a bit too much like Pedro Gomez. The similarities between the two coaches is till something I am working on (all I have so far is brow-furrowing and moustaches).

Charlie Manuel has a Berra-like habit of delivering stupid wisdom, but only without the wise part.

On Jon Lieber's summer slump, as quoted by the Philly.com's Marcus Hayes:

'"He was either tired, or fatigued," observed manager Charlie Manuel, who caught himself: "Which is about the same thing, I guess." '

This person has some good Wrens pics. Found through the Wrens' fantastic new message board.

I'll get that Tej song tonight. The Alou/Reid resemblance is startling.

With apologies to Elizabeth Elmore, I may hit up Rock Bottom Bethesder for tonight's game. At least the first half or so.

Danke Schoen. No clips req'd, I'm a shoe-in (sp? I don't have time to research this stuff).

Rock Bottom because... I dunno, a sports bar type place that's not too far. Got a better pick? I know Rhino in Georgetown is a PA sports bar, but that's in Georgetown.

After weeks of jerking me around netflix is finally shipping Stranger Than Paradise. Will it be worth it? Who's to say?

Yeah I figured that'd be up your alley, bigyawn tends to have reviews up even less frequently than "slamdancin". Not sure if there'll be any free discs involved or not.

Stranger than Paradise looks more normal than other Jarmusch movies - er, films.

Do you have a better suggestion than Rock Bottom? Quarry House don't count. Also, you don't have to come.

Messier retired. He was on the 97-98 Canucks team that won me the cup in Faceoff '98. I used the risky 4 forward attack of Mogilny, Bure, Messier and Linden. Coupled with some uncharacteristically solid play by Kirk McLean, I regularly beat the crap out of my little brother.

I was just curious why you picked Rock Bottom. I don't have a better suggestion, sorry. I don't think Hemmingway was a big Eagles fan. I'll be sleeping anyway.

I search for "sports bar" Silver Spring and got nada. "sports bar" in Bethesda gives you several non sports bar (Europa Lounge?), and Rock Bottom.

Messier has been playing since before I was born.
