I'm concerned about Chip. I mean, once you invite him over, that's a commitment. I expect to return home to find a karoake setup and some guy writhing on the floor to Jefferson Airplane. These folks like Jefferson's later work.
Simmons has disappeared, but his link guy has some good stuff. For instance, here is the real reason baseball cards are successful.
I like Q and not U more in theory than in practice. There, I said it, may the scene gods strike me down. Wait, this is better.
WOW! That page has convinced me to stay at home all weekend and look through baseball cards.
Could you not find any photos on the Sassy Magazine site?
Sean R5's latest email came out with a lot of spazzcore bands. Two I'd be somewhat intrigued by (with R5 descriptions in parens):

2. WOLF EYES (arrrgh my eyes are melting. brutal art/noise/vomit destruction. sub pop records)
I know how much you enjoy brutal noisy vomit.
