File Under....Darts
Well the baseball playoffs are starting, the Red Sox are playing, I think we both know what that means. Time for some hot darts action. The Washington Football Club is 3-0 leading Kornheiser to write a bandwagonesque column. Is it wrong to have hoped that the 49ers and Cardinals showed up in Mexico City last night only to walk out on a field set up for futbol, with a poor groundperson saying "Ahhhhh, si you meant futbol americano!" Then the NFL decided that the 2 teams are so bad that they should play each other in soccer anyway.
Woot. Hopefully, things will go well for this guy, since we all know what happened to the last guy who played that role.
Bob Mooold has some good reviews up on his blog, apparently he plays quite a bit of Copper Blue and some of the best Du tunes. (Chicagoist and the Minn. reviews are the ones you can get to without registering). Did the Decemberists play "Mr. Blue Sky" when you saw them? Someone says they did last night at 930, which I cite as further support for my "Orchest-rock" term.
Scott Baio is set to show up on Arrested Development tonight as Bob Loblaw, there will probably also be more Non-British foreigners playing British people.

Infrequency and Indie Punching. Not Professionalism.

I haven't even left for work yet! Ha!
What was the Cards/Niners score? 2-1?
I think Paul Clinton of CNN.com is one of those reviewers whose name appears in tiny tiny letters in an ad, or who is referred to as "critics" in radio spots. Critics say this blog is one that's on the internet.
No, no Mr. Blue Sky. Also, though, happily, no Tain. Just 30 seconds of Bauhaus, and lots and lots of crappy people. I wish that Hammerjack's and Sonar's crowds got mixed up for one night.
Alright, peace out.
I don't know what the score was but probably involved a "nil."
I like when movies, books, etc use reviews with too many ellipses. Like "...great...movie...to take...your children...to" when it was actually "This film was a great, big steaming pile. This movie is so bad, it will encourage you to take your children and throw them to a pack of flesh-hungry pumas."
