I'm loving every minute with this crew.

Went to Bluestone with Courtney and her pops last night. She got him Royal Tenenbaums for his birfday. If I were to dress up for hallowe'en, I'd prolly go as Richie, though I own young Chazzy's costume and wear it in earnest. Of course, this is the pinnacle of been done, to the point where if you search for "richie tenenbaum," you mostly get people in costume. Good grief.

On the same note, saw another trailer for The Squid and the Whale, and it does indeed look damn good. Also, it looks like whatever baldwin that is is in costume as Richie too. Looks less quirky than the Anderson movies, but that's good, since Life Aquatic kind of drowned in quirk.

Azlo, blah, I dunno, news...

Yeah there was a trailer for Squid and Whale when I saw Capote. I guess Anderson produced it, which could be good since movies that try and imitate him without having him involved end up sucking.

Just so fucking Sassy.

That's dogs blood.

What, Adaptation was awesome. Wait, was he involved with that?

I have seen the future of Caps hockey, and oh ho ho, he ain't pretty no more.

In other yay sports news, Jim Bowden got a 6-month contract extension. That's like "We have some confidence in you." Phillies, on the other hand, do not have a GM.

Does this mean they have to make another "Hot Shots!"? I also wonder where they got the inspiration for:
"'Rambo IV' centers on former Vietnam vet John Rambo, who is living a reclusive life back home in the U.S. But when a girl goes missing, he is forced to abandon his quiet lifestyle and take justice into his own hands."

Ha. There's a surprising amount of Commando memorabilia on e-Bay. Who knew there were other fans. And a lot in the UK. Odd.

Yeah, lamentably the "Let's Party" poster is $44. I think the DVD was only $5 and I think Alyssa Milano will appear at your wedding or bar mitzvah for $2.50 (extra if you want her to crush an ice cream cone in your face).

Didja hear the big news? It's all over the papers. Late editions, anyway. Yep, Sulu is gay.

Also, the Taco Wallace line in Simmons column today has me laughing. Say "Taco Wallace" out loud. I'm crying here.

Though I once again assure the audience that this is not a gay blog, I now know thanks to Bob Mould that our neighborhood is pretty gay.

Uh, Simmons columns, sports, bear - no, beer! beer!, hunting, bear hunting - damnit, uh, steak, not vacuuming, hot chicks, uh, Metallica...

Say "Steak Taco Wallace" outloud.

I saw the Takei thing, I just hope there's audio of him saying "I Like Dudes." He truly has one of the most hilarious voices ever.

Cannibal Corpse, not asking for directions, whiskey, cowboys....er.
