It's a Bird! It Walked on my Pillow!

Way to go USPS, all you can tell me about my package was that it left Cincinnati last Thursday. What a great service! What? It's free? I'm being obsessive about my Arrested Development DVD? You're right Post Office, I'm sorry.

Okkervil Bissellman show is up on Iota's website (Nov. 14th), for $10 I guess there's no excuse.

I think I hate these people more than the cell phone on the belt people. Why? Because they leave it on their heads all the friggin time. It looks about as chic as this. Little do they know the cool people don't even have cell phones, or cable, or radio, or homes.

Does one guy from the Fall (center) look very hooliganish to you? Maybe he's just acting "hard" (or "ard") as the Brits say, then again, maybe he's just there to protect this guy.

Don't apologize to the Postal Service. Their jackets are similar.

Way to post multiple links that don't work.

Cellphone earpieces are real dumb, and it took me a while to realize that you still need to have a whole phone somewhere. Same with using a hands free unless you're in a car. If you have to hold the damn phone, than you only have as many hands free as this guy.

Yeah, I hope Iota has good food.

If you want to buy a Fall album, you have a 1/50 chance of it being good.

Speaking of the drummer from Def Leopard, the Post's review of their recent show sez: "He remains a big hit with the fans. Throughout the Nissan show, a man near the stage waved an artificial leg and screamed genuine support for Allen."

Yeah, boo-urns on my links.

How does one know it's genuine? Maybe it's artificial support. Maybe he worked here.

While still on the subject of kinda hot indie ladies, I submit Feist. Hot in a Canadian hippie kinda way. ALso has a song called "The Eastern Shore."

And the girl in Brazilian Girls, although I assume a search would be not work safe.

Damn those Canadians! All the hot indie chicks and dudes like this reaping all the benefits.

I assume hanging out with the girl from Brazilian Girls would be as fun as hanging out with Bjork or Meg Murray. Plus she has that guy in her band who looks lihe this.

On top of the not-working links, we now have more Technorati-powered WaPo reverse links. I await the googlecheck.

At worst, statuesque: Emily Haines of Metric and BSS.

Maybe people are learning how stupid they will look with a cellphone earpiece. Seriously though, who would read that article and say, "Wow! I wonder what the bloggers are saying about that!" I'm more interested in what these folks think about it.

Now the Devil picture won't come up.

This place is falling apart.

Yeah, that's disappointing.

I feel a little guilty I didn't know about Phillaarts.com. EXCELLENT gig poster selection, reasonable prices.
