Fun Hats

Sadly I think this post will knock the Danzig lunchbox off the front page.

Really the only thing that would tempt me to tune in to the Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame inductions would be the possibility of a Johnny Rotten/Ozzy Osbourne duet singing either "Heart of Glass" or "Tuesday's Gone." That'd be just fine.

Also, Ted Leo does not like Rush as much as we originally thought, either that or he doesn't like taking requests from people in stupid hats while he tunes his guitar.

Hope everyone enjoyed their 2 hour block of Prison Break last night...stupid...razzle frazzle...grumble...tookerjerbs. That show gives me the blues.

3 Funny People I saw on the Metro on the ride home:

- Man wearing a black Leather Members Only Jacket

- Old Man who looked like a cross between Uncle Leo and Charlie Rose rockin out on his U2 iPod. I wish it would have been this instead.

- A lady with such a feverish twitch that she looked like a World Series closer waving off signs.

...and i love em all in the spirit of the season.

Good work going solo here. Hey, why not?

So I was just looking in the mirror, and since I didn't shave yesterday, I have more stubble than usual, and it looked pretty substantial. And I thought, "Just as the bear lets his coat thicken in anticipation of his long cold-weather slumber, so might a man require face hair to make it through the winter."

I thought, maybe I can grow a beard. Maybe it's my tru calling. Then I remembered the horror of my amish goatee, and I decided it's about time I got to work.

Let me know when the day happens that you don't see a Member's Only jacket, and the next day I will wear one. And sing Bobby Magee.

Yes, I watched their KCRW morning becomes eclectic set (the Broken Social Scene set is also excellent). They're very poppy and bearded. I think they also opened for Mr Oberst at DAR.....which I'm sure was grand.

Also, "You loved our movie Conan, we watched it together.".
