Well, halloween's over, which means we can officially start the holiday season leading up to Fishmas. By the way, next year's pumpkin? Duh.
Stereogum links to about a billion of John Peel's favorite songs. I felt a little guilty for getting them, because I think some of them suck. All the White Stripes songs are good, can't diss Sam and Dave, etc., but Some Chicken? Meh.
Also, I think those Stripes recorded their legendary Peel session around the block from where I was in London, when I was there. I'm awesome by proximity.
Also, I listened to TV on teh Radio this morning.

Yeah, I guess they had a shorter John Peel list last week sometime, I said "meh" to half of it.
Michael Dirda writes his fantastic book reviews in the same postal district as we live in, so we're pretentious pricks by proximity.
