Well, first a little follow-up on the great film Mitchell starring Joe Don Baker and the Ron Burgundy-approved Merlin Olsen. I struggled at first to remember where I recognized JDB from, then imdb told me that he was in Fletch(3rd down) and played the fake Babe Ruth in the Natural. He was also in a whole mess of the worst movies ever made, including multiple recent James Bond movies and predicatably Dukes of Hazzard and Joe Dirt. Good work outta him. Do you think that some actors and actresses are angry that movies in which they starred are only available on DVD in MST format?

It's clear to me that if Mitchell were alive today, he would be wearing a Member's Only jacket. These things continue to amaze me. Every year around this time the crawl out of hiding and surgically attach themselves to various men. They crawl out of the closet using thier impractical little straps as arms and like a stright jacket wielded by an insane asylum orderly, force themselves onto the distinguished gentleman while sleeping. The man then becomes a "Member" which is much more than becoming and Elk, Mason or Phi Delt. It's a higher calling. Every third Wednesday they gather in their secret clubhouse and discuss their plans to destroy all other jackets. I for one welcome them, they exhibit a stoicism and tenacity that makes me giggle like a moron every time I see one. Soldier on good Members and Godspeed.

Gob got cancelled and replaced by ear pickin' Tej in honor of the pharmacists show next week. I never realized how much Gob and Ted look alike, sans Segway.
