Then Jack sent me this, which is impressive, but Fight Club is kind of a short book. This is from the U of Chicago website so I am waiting for this guy to try and tackle the character development in The Adventures of Augie March where Blue = Wild Eyed Exhuberance, Red = Innocence, Black = Consternation, and Pink = General Foppishness. Get on that dude, Saul Bellow isn't getting any deader.

Also, everyone knows that the Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer looks like Will Ferrell, but tell me he doesn't closely resemble a shaved Mugatu on the latest Rolling Stone cover. On the subject of music magazines, I thought I'd add that the Klosterman-less SPIN is the worst magazine ever in the history of the world. Axl Rose has known this for some time. (Hit Parader and Kerrang are probably not faring much better.)

I listened to about half a Slayer song the other day, which seemed to be the appropriate level of devilish behavior for 6/6/06. I also massacred a baby lamb, but I did that just because it was the first Tuesday of the month. Speaking of the devil, the Eurovision song contest's winning song "Hard Rock Hallelujah" by Lordi has a ridiculous video. They have costumes that are crazier than Gwar's, are from Finland, and have lines in the song that reference "the Day of Rockining."
