Play with Macaque

1.21 Gigawatts. The drug story is one of the best, a shame that doesn't go a bit more in depth on the subject.

The bookstore for Thursday's Lethem thing.

The Post has an article about the creepy Ehrlich aide who looks like David Brent. And one about Hot Hot Heat that might actually be from last week.

I'm open to looking at places in Silver Spring if it means cheaper. I am continually realizing how much money $1500 is.

Slint at 930 is not sold out but it is tomorrow night and $25. Gross.

The newspaper hasn't been coming before I leave for work....a shame.

I'll try and write a letter to Crystal.

What a pleasantly comprehensive post. It's a shame, about John. He was a good drug buddy.

Lethem will be hanging, essentially, in our potential new 'hood. $1500 has too many zeros in it. $150. That looks a lot better. Seriously, though, in my opinion we have to cast a wide net this early... Makes a greater chance we'll find an ideal place, much to ours and Jack Bohrer's satisfaction. Ideal place being: Walk to metro, convenient to 495, less than $1500, and not in Gravlax Gefilte Fish Towers. Oh, and with industrial Washer/Dryer, and lots of light. And bedrooms of equal size. Etc.

Ehrlich is creepy. The hair never moves, Jimmy-Johnson-like. Slint can kiss my tired, post-rock ass.

Azlo, went for a run this morning. Weirded out. I'll put up some links later.

This morning on craigslist:

This has been up there awhile... looks like a nice location. Security deposti's a bitch.

Dunno about this place, but the realty company's a thought...

Otherwise, still looking.

The new Hot Hot Heat is called Elevator? Awww, but I've been calling her Crandel.

Reviewer not a fan of Louis XIV - though his concerns are well founded, his taste is called inot question by his championing of Washington Social Club. Easy, champion.

Azlo, Courtney got into Merrlund. I wonder if she gets student tickets...

Blogger is working much better.

I did not get the new Brooks email yet. I'll have to harass him.

At this point I'm not sure I'd be able to afford a 1 month security deposit without borrying $ from my parents.

Courtney would get UMD tickets, but only with her ID and much camping out involved (for good games) and no hope for us being able to use them.

After sifting through the Rent.com listings I found 3 places in actual downtown Silver Spring:
Courts of Madison
Rock Creek Springs
and if we want to pamper ourselves...Alexander House

Links wouldn' work so just look em up yourself.

No hope for tickets? So we'll miss the chance to see the next Steve Blake?

FWIW (not much), aparementratings has a LOT of negative complaints about Alexander house (though there's a hint of Sietsama-chat snobbishness there - "I'm paying a lot and managment won't listen to me bitch"), no comments at all (a good thing) about Madison Court and a baffling majority positives for Rock Creek Springs. Worst complaint of one guy is that the walk to metro is though a parking lot, and therefore not very pleasant.

Good work outta you.

Blogger seems to hesitate like an '82 Jaguar when a lot of posts/comments are up.

I get off at either Smithsonian or L'Enfant Plaza.

Here's my funny story, I'm just now eating lunch. We'll talk at home.
