A Well Rounded Meal
I can tell my the remnants of a cracker and Ginger Ale dinner that you got home late last night. Sorry, that sucks, but tonight Scrubs is on....but I think it's a rerun.
Kornheiser is old and sure looked stupid in high school. It is a bit unfair to him though, our picture are of us now (in our prime?). Throw some nice 8th grade photos of us up there and we'll call it even, or at least find the photo of John Saunders' college hockey team where he's the only black guy and has a huuuuuge afro.
I'm not sure how I missed this yesterday, pretty hilarious (Faber College, har har).
Over the weekend, I watched 2 movies that I used to think were very funny. Waynes World and Dumb and Dumber. Dumb and Dumber, although not as old, made me laugh out loud several times ("Big Gulps huh?......Well, see ya" always gets me). Waynes World is terrible. Rob Lowe is the funniest person in the movie. I also watched Super Size Me on demand and felt gross.
I'm not sure what I think of this. I'd have to see it before I made up my mind, but I do love cable access. Which reminds me...I saw a show on Howard Co. Public Access featuring a pre-Ed South show Ed South....and he had a beard. Gross.
I got paid today, and I get my Metro benefits....it's like Work Christmas.

Infrequency and Indie Punching. Not Professionalism.

There was some Old Grandad in that Ginger Ale, consumed at 11pm. I owe you one. I'm spine-crushingly tired.
I figure Kornheiser contributes to this thing whenever he writes, so he should be credited. I'll take the picture down, I didn't have the patience to size it right.
That's a very good N. Chad arteekl. Mike Tice went to UM?!? Man, I'm glad I didn't get in there for grad school. Azlo, I don't know who John Feinstein is, but I take it I'm not supposed to like him.
Dumb and Dumber isn't funny? Next you're going to tell me Ghostbusters II wasn't waaaay better than the first, crappy one.
I am Vigo. Scourge of Carpathia. Vigo out.
Dumb and Dumber is funny, sorry that didn't come across, I was preoccupied by Wayne's World's suckiness.
I added something to the original post about a cable access show. Ch-ch-check it.
I did know Mike Tice went to MD. There was a constant joke in the Towson household of his resemblance to Puddy from Seinfeld. I can see him saying/doing all of the following things:
"High Five"
"Gotta Support the team"
"Yeah, I'm a face painter"
"Yeah, you're goin to hell"
"THE DEVILS!!!!"
Ernie Hudson is my favorite Ghostbuster. If you check his list of movies, he rarely played a character who wasn't Officer, Detective, or Agent.
Here is the hilarious allmusic GNR listing. Note the long list of members. The list of "Followers" is also a list of THE worst bands ever.
The Guns N Roses link doesn't work this one does.
Doves at 930 May 23rd. Something to think about. We will certainly not have any money at that point.
Geez - been trying to comment all morning. I thought yesterday was the longest day of my working career... Until I got here this morning. I shall sleep in a Van Winkel manner this evening, and many to follow.
Corned beef and Colcannon Thursday? I think so. Any recipe that measures butter by the stick must be good.
Doves - seen 'em. Wouldn't necessarily mind seeing them again, though it could be a "second gomez show" kinda thing for me.
Other links: appreciated. Back twerk.
A quick review of craigslist:
This doesn't look THAT nice, and is kinda expensive, but I think it's a good location.
Same spot, badass lookin apartment, well out of price range.
Cheap? Cool lookin inside? garage? Silver Spring? Oh, the part of Silver Spring that's in Columbia.
I had seen the Silver Spring one this morning. Gross. Despite outdoor indie rock concerts, I think Silver Spring has a similar lame-itude as Columbia.
The basement one looks cool. The upstairs looks real cool......could we move in the basement with hopes of invading the upstairs? I'm thinking that the U Street and NE Capital Hill neighborhoods are most conducive to your commute, being on the Eastern side of the city with access to BW Prkwy.
